Free Admission to the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield!

In honor of founder, Larry Aldrich's birthday, the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum is offering FREE ADMISSION through June 24th.

Here are some weekend events:

Join The Aldrich's staff on Saturday morning, June 18th at 10:30 am, before the Museum opens, for yoga class in the galleries. It is Vinyasa (constant movement) style and open to all levels and a wide range of abilities. Ask the staff art questions and exercise mind and body! (Class lead by a certified yoga teacher.) This program can only accommodate twenty participants. Please arrive early to ensure your space.  The class is FREE for members, $10 for non-members.

Every weekend, The Aldrich offers visitors the opportunity to extend their visits and learn more about the work and the ideas on view in our exhibitions through our Family Drop-in Weekends: Hands-on Activities. Just stop by the Education Center to enjoy self-guided, hands-on projects for all age levels. Join interim co-director Richard Klein for an intimate, behind-the-scenes tour that focuses on the exhibition installation process on Sunday, June 19th from 2 pm to 3 pm. for the Museum in Transition: Curator-Led Show Change Tour.  Participants will witness both the Museum’s preparators and visiting artists working on the installation of the new exhibitions that open on June 26.
