Gatsby Gala Succeeds in Helping Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut

Danbury, Connecticut - On June 20th, 2014, Reby Advisors, a local financial advisory firm, helped sponsor The Gatsby Gala, a fundraiser for the Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut, which provides care for families facing advanced illness. Reby Advisors was one of four "Gold" level sponsors for the event.

"We feel it's important to give back," says Laurie Ham, CFP®, Chief Operating Officer of Reby Advisors. "As financial advisors in this community, we know the hardship people can face due to an advanced illness. This is a great cause, because the Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut brings comfort and needed care to people facing one of the most difficult challenges in their lives."

The event raised money with a formal dinner, a live & silent auction, and a car raffle, all helping to fund the non-profit, which is opening of a new state-of-the-art residence on December 1, 2014. Reby Advisors has also helped raise money for the Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut in the past by participating in its golf tournament.
