Remodeling? Cleaning out? Contractor Roundup Needs You!

REMODELING? CLEANING OUT? DOWNSIZING? 2nd ANNUAL CONTRACTOR ROUNDUP – MATERIALS DRIVE

Contractors and homeowners: are you remodeling, downsizing or just getting rid of stuff? If so, consider donating to Housatonic Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Danbury. In October you can donate to the ReStore through Contractors Roundup, a four week donation drive with the focus on the collection of new and gently used construction materials.

By donating your unused materials during Contractor Roundup, you can help reduce the amount of materials that are wasted and sent to landfills; it’s a real opportunity to be green. Not only does donating help the environment but it’s also a tax deduction and helps the families that benefit from Habitat for Humanity homes.   Items accepted include: windows, doors, cabinetry, tile, flooring, plumbing fixtures, tools, appliances and other usable construction materials. After all “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”!

Donations will be collected at Limestone Service Station, 399 Danbury Road in Ridgefield, every Thursday and Saturday between October 2nd and October 25th. Hours are Thursdays 7am–1pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm.  If the donation times don’t work for you, contact the ReStore directly and they can set up a donation pickup or drop off time that will. For additional information on this event, find out more by visiting ClarkConstruction.net, calling the ReStore at (203) 205-0952 or via email at Donations@Housatonichabitat.org.

Spearheaded by Clark Construction of Ridgefield, Inc., additional Community Sponsors of Contractor Roundup include: 1-800-PACK-RAT, Ridgefield Printing, Ridgefield Supply Company, Sign-A-Rama, and the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County.
