Fairfield County Bank to Fundraise for 2 Year Old Skylar Taft

Fairfield County Bank’s redesigned Federal Road office will be using their new coin counting machine for a good cause.

On Saturday, December 6th, the branch will be hosting “Coins for Skylar”, a fundraiser for 2 year old Danbury native, Skylar Taft. Skylar suffers from a rare form of throat cancer and has been through multiple surgeries and chemotherapy. “Despite not feeling well, Skylar comes into the branch with all smiles,” said Alaina Vedda, Staff Support Supervisor at Fairfield County Bank’s Federal Road Office.

Skylar is currently at St. Jude’s undergoing surgery in hopes to remove her tumors. Those who visit the Federal Road office on the 6th will be able to use the coin counting machine to turn their coins into cash and have the option to donate a portion or all of their cash to Skylar’s family. No coin machine fees will be charged on December 6th.

Fairfield County Bank is a $1.5 billion community bank headquartered in Ridgefield, CT with locations throughout Fairfield County. Visit www.fairfieldcountybank.com to find out more about the Bank.
