Ridgefield Playhouse Keep It Badass benefit fashion show announces models

“Keep It Badass” Lauren DiNardo Fashion Show will benefit military heroes at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, May 6

Lauren DiNardo’s fashion mission for her “Keep It Badass” collection goes beyond style. It’s “clothing and accessories with the positive purpose and intention to bring people, community, and culture together for a full spectrum all-inclusive experience.” That gives new meaning to badass. “Keeping it badass” has never been as much fun or as expressive as it will be when Lauren DiNardo’s “Keep It Badass” fashion event benefits the Help Our Military Heroes organization at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, May 6. The evening starts with an X-rated Fusion Liqueur tasting courtesy of Campari America, handcrafted cookies courtesy of Elizabella's, and much more cool stuff in the lobby at 6:30 p.m. before the fashion show at 7:30 p.m. Help Our Military Heroes is a Connecticut-based non-profit organization that honors wounded military men and women who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan wars and have returned home with catastrophic injuries. The organization operates solely on donations and proudly uses 100% of funds raised to pay for their life-improving programs. This event is partially underwritten by Saltana Cave and is part of Hamlet Hub’s "A Whole New You" Series
with media sponsors Star 99.9fm and 95.9fm Fox Classic Rock.

The Keep It Badass themed fashion event will allow everyone to tap into their inner badass while raising much-needed funds for USA heroes. “Being in the fashion industry for over a decade, it was clear to me who we should be ‘modeling’ ourselves after -- the strong, honest, unstoppable ones! The ones that keep getting up no matter how many times they’ve been pushed down. The ones that understand we are all connected, and by their actions improve the lives of others. The ones that act from their hearts. From my personal experience, these heroes happen to be Veterans, First Responders, Teachers, Entrepreneurs, Parents, Siblings, Friends …But we can ALL tap into our inner BADASS! Life can get hard, and no one is exempt from set backs, loss and adversity. My hope is that through this message, you are reminded that you’ve got what it takes! You are not alone, you are a part of something big! You are a part of this community! Keep going! KEEP IT BADASS!,” explains Lauren DiNardo.
