Mercedes-Benz of Danbury Sponsors 2nd Annual Caroline Previdi Day Saturday, July 11 at Ridgewood Country Club

The 2nd Annual Caroline Previdi Day, which includes a golf tournament at Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury, is set for Saturday, July 11 and Mercedes-Benz of Danbury will proudly donate .25 per hole, per player during the tournament. 

One hundred percent of the day's proceeds will be donated to The Caroline Previdi Foundation to provide children in Newtown and surrounding areas who struggle financially, the ability to participate in extracurricular activities. "The Foundation's goal is to support children in the Newtown and surrounding communities with the financial means to participate in extracurricular activities, including, but not limited to: dance, art, music and sports," the Foundation explains.

The Caroline Previdi Foundation was created to honor the memory and giving spirit of Caroline Previdi who died as a result of the tragic events that took place in Sandy Hook.  Caroline's enthusiasm for her extracurricular activities as well as her compassion for others were the inspiration for the Foundation.
