The Bethel Education Foundation announces the 2017 Barnum Ball, their biggest fundraising annual event attended by parents, educators and community members. The event will take place on Saturday, March 18 at the Ethan Allen Hotel in Danbury.
This year’s theme is Roaring 20’s. "The grants teachers are awarded through the work of the Foundation are in invaluable to our staff. They provide resources which encourages innovation and creativity in the classroom," says Bethel Superintendent, Christine Carver.
At the event, the Dr. Janice Jordan Excellence in Education Award is presented to a teacher or educator whose creativity within the classroom, school or district has had a significant impact on student performance and achievement.
