Danbury Area Computer Society Talks Computer Safety on August 5

Protecting Yourself, Your Computer, and Your Identity

The Danbury Area Computer Society will discuss how to protect yourself, your computer, and your identity at its next general meeting. The featured speaker will be Bob Gostischa, who will describe Avast! security software, used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

The meeting will take place at 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 5th, in the Danbury Hospital Auditorium. DACS General Meetings are free and open to the public. Directions and more information are available at www.DACS.org.

Doors open at 6:30 PM for registration and casual networking. The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM with Ask DACS, an open Q&A session, followed by the main presentation at 8:00 PM.
