Wooster School Jazz Series Continues with Redding resident Rob Fried and Bone Dry Band

 

The 2015 Wooster Jazz Series concludes on Thursday, April 16, 2015, with Rob Fried and Bone Dry Band visiting Wooster School.

The Music Department is excited to host this prominent group of musicians, and shows are open to Wooster students and alumni, their families, and the community at large. Performances will take place in the evenings in the Reception Center at 6:00 pm with Wooster musicians followed by the artists at 7:00 pm. Evening concerts are precluded by a day visit to work with our young musicians.

Tickets are $10 for students, $20 for adults. Ticket purchases can be made by visiting: http://woosterschool.org/jazzseries. Seating is extremely limited, so we ask that you please honor your reservation. Refreshments are available prior to each performance.

About Rob Fried and Bone Dry Band

Local musician and Wooster School parent, Rob Fried P ’13 and ‘17, is a member of Bone Dry Band.

Bone Dry is an acoustic-electric band based in southwestern Connecticut. Bone Dry plays original music as well as music by artists including Taj Mahal, Delbert McClinton, Grateful Dead, CSNY, Keb Mo, David Grey, Dave Matthews, Van Morrison and many others. Their style combines a wide range of genres including blues, roots, funk, Motown, Latin, jam band and jazz.

Bone Dry has been playing together in various combinations for over 30 years and performing as Bone Dry since 2001. They have opened for BB King, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Little Feat, Donna Jean Godchaux from the Grateful Dead and have performed at many festivals including Gathering of the Vibes and Blues, Views and BBQ in Westport CT.
