Born To Lead: Jim Calhoun documentary film event reveals leadership off and on the court with Jim Calhoun in person at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, May 3

What does it take to lead?  What are the invaluable life’s lessons an award-winning basketball coach can impart to corporate executives, high school and college students  -- in fact, to anyone who wants to achieve?

The documentary film Born to Lead: Jim Calhoun provides a never-before-seen perspective on leadership and the man behind the 40-year legacy of one of the most successful coaches in college basketball history at UConn. He will be at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, May 3, for a most special event, which kicks off at 7 p.m., Co-Producers Lauren Cragg & Chris Martens will join Calhoun to answer questions after the film screening, which will be hosted by Adnan Virk of ESPN (host of Baseball Tonight).

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. At 8:45 p.m., Coach Calhoun will autograph copies of the Born To Lead DVD, which includes the only career and life interview he has ever done – captured on this one-of-a-kind DVD. For tickets ($15; $45 VIP ticket includes Meet & Greet Reception with Jim Calhoun from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and signed copy of DVD), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org for more information.
