United Way of Western CT & The Prospector Join Forces to present Paycheck to Paycheck screening and discussion on May 5

You are invited to The Prospector for a special screening and discussion of the HBO documentary, Paycheck to Paycheck: The Life and Times of Katrina Gilbert".  The screening, followed by a panel discussion, will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Prospector Theater (25 Prospect Street) in Ridgefield.

United Way of Western CT, in partnership with the Prospector Theater, encourages you to help raise awareness about individuals like Katrina who work hard yet still struggle to make ends meet. United Way calls this often overlooked population ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed).

 

Registration is required. Suggested donation of $5 can be paid at the door.

Panel discussion to follow film screening. Panelists will include:

Al Almeida, Command Sergeant Major 94th Training Division, Danbury
Ellen Bromley, Director of Social Services for the City of Stamford
Dr. William R. Glass, Deputy Superintendent, Danbury Public Schools
Valerie Jensen, visionary and founder of The Prospector Theater

The Heads Up Café will be serving its signature food and beverages the entire night.
