Emerge Yourself in Two Upcoming Worldwide Free Events this May

CITYCENTER DANBURY SHARES TWO WORLDWIDE EVENTS
FREE ON THE THE GREEN IN MAY

CHASKI FEST

Chaski is the Quechua word (native Andean language) for messenger. On Saturday, May 9th, 12:00pm to 8:00pm, the CityCenter Danbury Green at Ives Street will be filled with "eco mensajeros con amor." The message is Be Conscious and Act with Love. The fChaski Fest, presented by the  World Conscious Pact Northeast, a regional chapter of a worldwide group of supporters of the rights of Mother Nature, will celebrate our Earth and its maintenance through music, dance, yoga, capoeira, environmental activism, and shared awareness. More than a dozen performance groups are participating, including the WCSU Drum Circle. For more information about the Pact's current activities to advocate clean eco-systems , visit http://worldconsciouspact.blogspot.com/ or call (203) 448 9886.

DANBURY RIDE OF SILENCE
We All Share the Road is the message on Wednesday, May 20th, as cyclists worldwide will join in a  silent, slow-paced bike ride to honor those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. The route is a 4.5 mile loop at 10 to 12 miles per hour. Cyclists will gather at 6:45pm at the CityCenter Danbury Green for a prompt 7:00pm departure. Helmets are required. For more information, visit www.rideofsilence.org or contact martifine@gmail.com

Both events are free to the public.
