Friends of The Danbury Museum Hosts Annual Garden Party

Gather in the garden for The Friends of the Danbury Museum & Historical Society's fourth annual garden party fundraiser, Saturday June 20, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM .

Enjoy an afternoon visiting a historic Danbury home, the former Brookfield Tavern, owned by Erika and Dean Askin.

The tavern was purchased by George F. Ives, a cousin of composer Charles Ives, an antiques collector and dealer. It was disassembled and moved to Danbury in 1918 to be used as his showroom.

The first floor will be open for guests to visit the colonial taproom.

In addition, there will be live music provided by The Red Hots, a silent auction, wine and light refreshments.

Tickets are limited to 100 guests! Click on the link below to register or RSVP.
