Sleep: Do you get enough? presentation at the Danbury Library

The Danbury Library invites all those who have trouble sleeping to a free program “Sleep: Do You Get Enough?” conducted by the Medical Director of SOPHIA Natural Health Center, Kenneth Hoffman, D.Ac.(RI), L.Ac., CCH on Wednesday, September 9 from 5:45-6:45 p.m.

Sleep is a natural part of everyone’s life, but many people know very little about how important it is, and some even try to get by with little

sleep.  Sleep is something our bodies need to do; it is not an option during sleep many of the body’s major organs and regulatory systems

continue to work actively.  Some parts of the brain increase their activity dramatically and the body produces more of certain hormones.  The presentation will cover the three natural solutions to sleep problems: vitamins, exercise, and physical treatment.

The program is provided free of charge.  Registration is required online at danburylibrary.org, click on “Events” or call 203-797-4527.

For more information, contact the SOPHIA Center at 203-740-9300 or Maryellen DeJong, Danbury Library Community Relations Coordinator at 203-796-8061.
