A few ticket remain to see rock icon Melissa Etheridge at The Ridgefield Playhouse October 5 & 6

Oscar and Grammy Award winning artist Melissa Etheridge returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse for two nights on Monday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 6 at 8 p.m. as part of the Pepsi Rock Series powered by Xfinity.

The rock icon will bring her soulful lyrics and smoky, Joplin-esque vocals to the stage as part of her This Is M.E. solo tour.  Since 1988, Melissa Etheridge has been bringing the deep emotion of confessional songwriting to bear on the heart and soul of rock and roll. In her almost-thirty-year career, Etheridge has released ten studio albums, campaigned tirelessly for numerous social causes, sold out countless tour dates, and won two Grammy Awards and an Oscar.

Fans will hear some of Melissa’s best known songs including Come to My Window and I’m the Only One along with songs from her latest album, This Is M.E. — all delivered with the unwavering passion that endeared her to audiences. Etheridge will be performing solo, and playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar, harmonica, and piano. She says, “I enjoy doing the solo shows… I love to dive into my catalogue of songs and bring a new freshness to my older material. It is such an intimate experience with the audience, and it is truly one of my favorite ways to perform.”  Tom Tom’s Restaurant (417 Main Street, Ridgefield) if offering fans a free glass of house wine with dinner when tickets to this show are presented.
