Now with the current date being Halloween this family fun Walk & Run is adding a new twist—COSTUMES! All participants are encouraged to make the most out of their Halloween by wearing a costume to the race; getting the Halloween festivities started early.

This Walk & Run will be benefiting the continued support of the phenomenal patient care programs at the Diebolds Family Cancer Center. The funds raised will ensure those individuals going through cancer treatments receive the best care possible, as well as promoting care and support to the patients' families.

Originally the event was scheduled for the weekend of October 3rd, however with Hurricane Joaquin looming near by the organizers felt it best to postpone the event for everyone's safety. Luckily, Joaquin passed by with only a few showers, and the new date is better than ever because who doesn't love a good costume?!

Currently the center has raised $86,919 of their goal of $100,000. With just a few weeks away they are close to their goal, but need all the support they can get. Help them achieve their goal and give back to their patients by inviting friends and family to this memorable and charitable event.

All who wish to participate can register here. The Walk & Run will be held at Harrybrooke Park located at 64 Lanesville Road #1 in new Milford.
