Doctors Express Danbury Hosts Drive-Thru Flu Clinic TOMORROW!

Doctors Express Urgent Care in Danbury will be providing flu shots right from your car on Sat, Oct. 11th, from 8am – noon. Tents will be set up on Lions Way in Rogers Park for Drive-thru Flu Shots.  Flu vaccinations will be free to those with Medicare or Medicaid insurance cards and will cost $20 (cash only) for all others. This will be their 2nd Drive-thru Flu Clinic.

The Danbury based urgent care center has been open for a year and a half, and are always looking for innovative ways of providing care, health education and awareness to the community.  An example of this is their YouTube Medical Minute videos that focus on current, local and seasonal health and medical alerts such as the recent Enterovirus, Flu, Concussions, etc. The motto of Doctors Express is to give patients excellent and affordable medical care with exceptional customer service in a quick, efficient manner.  That motto is being taken to the streets for their second flu clinic.

“This brings more convenience and efficiency to receiving flu vaccinations.  The Drive-thru Flu Clinic is ideal for those who have a hard time getting in and out of cars, those with children who don’t want to bring everyone in and out and for those who just want to get their flu shot on the go, without any wait,” said Kristy Gentile, Community Engagement Director of Doctors Express.

Register, pay the $20 cash fee or show Medicaid or Medicare insurance cards, and sign consent forms at the first tent on Lions Way.  You’ll then drive up to the second tent where you’ll receive your flu vaccination, and then be on your way.
