Two Children's Books on The Great Danbury Fair

How’s this for serendipity?

On Wednesday, Books, Ink contributing editor Jessica Collins wrote about “The County Fair,” Tasha Tudor’s children’s book inspired by the Danbury Fair of days of yore.

Today, a post on the Danbury Museum and Historical Society’s Facebook page announced a new arrival to their gift shop, a recently released children’s book called “The Great Danbury Fair A to Z” by Theresa Buzaid.

If you love sharing local history with your young children, mark Saturday, Dec. 20 from 12 – 4 p.m. on your calendars: Buzaid will visit the Danbury Museum n for a book sale and signing.

The Danbury Museum and Historical Society is located at 43 Main St. in Danbury, Conn. For more information, phone (203) 743-5200, or visit danburymuseum.org.
