Bethel Chamber President & Executive Director Bobbi Jo Beers Announces Resignation

A Message from the Chairman of the Board

Bobbi Jo Beers has announced her resignation as the President and Executive Director of the Bethel Chamber of Commerce.

Bobbi Jo has agreed to stay on full time until Summer Fest and will be available part time, on an as needed basis, until we find a replacement.

Those of us who have been lucky enough to work with Bobbi Jo know how much time and effort she put into her role with the Chamber.  I have seen many positive changes in the community and at chamber events thanks to her careful and thoughtful planning.

Bobbi Jo will instead focus her attention on growing her own business and spending more time with her family.  She looks forward to being an active participant in the many wonderful chamber events she herself helped to build.

I know we all wish her well with her new business!  Until the time comes for Bobbi Jo to step down, I hope you stop in, call in, and email to let her know how much you appreciate all of the great events and programs she helped bring to this community.

We look forward to seeing you out and about in Bethel!

Bobbi Jo also left this note on her personal Facebook page:

I have written and re-written this post 1000 times. The rumors are true. I have announced my resignation as the President and Executive Director of the Bethel Chamber. A position that has been a true blessing in my life. I have learned so much from everyone that I have worked with. It is because of my experience with the Chamber that I had the courage to start my own business. There are so people that I can and should thank that stood by my side and supported all my crazy ideas but I know that I would miss someone! Thank you for all your kind words, phone calls, texts, and emails yesterday. The love and support brought tears to my eyes. I was not ready to respond yesterday since I really wasn't ready to make it public yet, but oh well are we really truly ready for anything. I will be around and it will be business as usual until my replacement has been found. xo
