What is St. Peter's Episcopal Church?

Founded in 1802, St. Peter's is a pastoral parish, comprising about 200 families and is part of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut. St. Peter's has been a spirit filled parish for over 200 years and continues to be a place of prayer, hope and love, welcoming everyone on their journey of faith.

The Sunday of the Apple Festival, our worship service will be at 9 AM on the green.

The annual Apple Festival represents a year's worth of planning and hard work by the members of the congregation and it stems from a tradition of offering a festival that started sometime in the 1950s.

"All the effort is worth it," said St. Peter's Rector, the Rev. Kurt Huber. "Each year we have more volunteers, the festival seems to grow bigger and better, attracting more visitors. We are truly blessed, and very pleased with the response from Monroe and the surrounding communities. It's fun!"
