Norwalk People and Places in the WPA Murals
Norwalk Preservation Trust's 4th Annual Living History Tour partners with the Norwalk Arts Commission to create an insider's tour of Norwalk's collection of WPA murals. Scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 12:30pm, the tour will begin with a docent-led look at the paintings in City Hall, including seen source photographs used by the artists, followed by a bus tour around Norwalk to view the settings as they appear today. Actors will join the tour en route to bring to life the people, scenes and events portrayed in the paintings. A reception with refreshments will conclude the tour.
Early-bird registration is $45 for NPT members and $55 for non-members. After September 21, it is $50/$60.
