CT Choral Society Chamber Singers Present Free Brookfield Concert

The Chamber Singers of the Connecticut Choral Society will perform in a free concert at the Brookfield Library on Sunday, October 19, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free; donations in support of future concerts are welcome. Refreshments will be provided by The Friends of The Brookfield Library.

The program will consist of an eclectic mix of folk songs, madrigals, spirituals, and sentimental favorites, including Moon River, Tears on My Pillow, If Ever I Would Leave You, and Music! Music! Music!

The Chamber Singers, the Connecticut Choral Society’s outreach ensemble, is an a cappella group formed in 1988, which performs a repertoire which is varied and exciting, from classics to contemporary, sacred to spectacular. They perform at holiday festivals and at special events throughout the year including benefit concerts, cultural arts programs, libraries, school assemblies, and other gatherings, broadening the base of the CT Choral Society and “bringing music to the people.” For more information, call Brookfield Library at 203-775-6241.
