John A. Gesualdi, 91, of New Canaan, CT passed away on March 4, 2015 at the Regency Heights of Stamford.. John was born on November 20, 1923 in New Canaan, CT to the late John and Mary Rainone Gesualdi.
A lifelong resident of New Canaan, John was educated through the New Canaan school system. For many years until he retired, John worked as a Plumbing and Heating contractor. John belonged to the Piedmont Association and various veterans groups in the area.
John is survived by one son, John P. Gesualdi ( Lisa Bello ) of New Canaan, CT and one daughter, Lorraine Carbone ( Anthony ) of New Rochelle, NY. Also surviving John are his two grandsons, Anthony and Paul Carbone and his brother Vito Gesualdi of Bethel, CT. John was pre-deceased in life by his two sisters Connie and Elizabeth.
The family will receive friends at Hoyt Funeral Home Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Church, New Canaan, CT on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10am. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien, CT.
