Veteran and Bethel Resident, Ronald Corona, has passed at 67

Ronald Corona, 67, of Bethel, beloved husband of Jennifer (Coale) Corona, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, May 27th. He was born in Danbury on July 28, 1947, son of the late Anthony and Concetta (Pannozzo) Corona.

Ron was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, proudly serving with the United States Navy. He spent his 39 year career as an Engineer with Goodrich, the former Perkin Elmer.

Ron loved spending time by the water, especially vacationing at the beaches along the East Coast. He enjoyed science fiction, music, and was fascinated with history.

In addition to his cherished wife of 34 years, Jennifer, he will be sadly missed by his stepchildren, Julia, Rebecca and Mark Ciferri, two grandchildren Matthew and Olivia Ciferri. He is also survived by his brother John Corona, his sister-in-law Shirley Corona and nephews Gary and Anthony Corona.

He is pre-deceased by three siblings Anthony, Mildred and Mary.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 1st at St. Joseph Church, 8 Robinson Ave., Danbury at 10:00 AM.

There will be no calling hours.

Donations Information

Donations may be made to St. Joseph Church in Ronald's honor.
