Tao Yin is a type of exercise and self-massage intended to revitalize a person's internal energy, which is also referred to as ch'i.The exercises are used to encourage flexibility and strength, rejuvenating a person's muscles, ligaments, and joints and help release blocked energy within a person's body.

This will be a participatory seminar - loose fitting clothes are suggested. Exercise is gentle, there are no restrictions, anyone can do it!

Dr. Bruce will introduce you to the Chinese Tea Culture and explain various teas and their healing/medicinal properties. He'll also demonstrate the art of making tea.

Come prepared to taste! Various teas will be available for purchase!

Qigong is an over 5,000 year old Chinese health method that combines slow, graceful movements with mental concentration and breathing. The standing postures and breathing exercises improve circulation, reduce stress, cultivate and balance chi or “life energy, and enhances the immune system!

Dr. Chris will lead you through some simple exercises to increase your strength, balance and flexibility! These exercises are designed for you to practice at home to benefit your overall body health.

Saturday and Sunday, March 5th and 6th Join us at the Western Connecticut Home Show at the O’ Neill Center, on the WestConn Westside Campus, 43 Lake Avenue Ext., in Danbury, CT.

We’ll be handing out information about our clinic and providing free pain and stress relief treatments. Saturday – 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday – 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Drop by and say hello… Bring your friends and family for a free treatment!

 

Saturday and Sunday, March 12th and 13th We’ll be at the CT NOFA Conference at the WestConn Midtown Campus, in the Gym, 181 White Street, Danbury, CT.Saturday – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Sunday – 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The Connecticut Natural Organic Farmers Association will be doing their yearly conference with booths, vendors, lectures and workshops both days.
