Bethel High School Navy JROTC conducted Basic Leadership Training at Camp Niantic

Bethel High School Navy JROTC conducted Basic Leadership Training 2017 (BLT) at Camp Niantic in Niantic, CT from Sept. 28th to Oct. 1st.

Bethel Superintendent of Schools, Christine Carver announced in today's newsletter to parents, "It was a total success. There were 258 cadets in attendance from 6 schools, including 118 Bethel cadets."

According to Carver, cadets Patrick Joyce, Donovan Eaton, Olivia McGarry and Jack Morris planned, managed and led all of the major events.

"Watching them work was like watching active duty junior officers make the mission happen. Please join me in congratulating the honor cadets who were selected by their drill instructors as the most motivated and best performers during the tough 4-day training," said Carver.

Congratulations to Katrina Geslein, Victor Pinheiro, Luca Cazzaniga, Rachel Nelson, and Autumn Lahood.
