The American Booksellers Association has announced that Bethel resident and Byrd's Books manager, Stephen was chosen to win a James Patterson’s Holiday Bonus!
Byrd's Books said, "One or more people nominated Steve to win a bookseller's bonus so naturally, we wanted to crow a bit about it!"

On behalf of the American Booksellers Association and James Patterson, it is our pleasure to inform you that James Patterson has selected you to receive a holiday bonus.
All recipients of the holiday bonus have been selected by James Patterson. The ABA is extremely grateful to Mr. Patterson for his ongoing generosity and his continued strong support of independent bookstores.
The response to James Patterson’s Holiday Bonus Program has been overwhelming. The ABA received nearly 600 nominations in total! The quantity and quality of the nominations speaks highly of the bookstore employees who are working to instill a love of books and reading across the country.
