Flower Arrangement Contest at the Bethel Public Library

Please join us as we celebrate the Bethel Public Library's Founder's Day in honor of Maria Parloa. Miss Parloa founded the Library with a bequest of $2,000 to the Town of Bethel in 1909. In addition, she organized the Village Improvement Society and was active in community landscaping projects, including the planting of shrubs, bulbs, and FLOWERS throughout Bethel!

In 1932, Founder's Day was observed by adorning the Library with flower arrangements created by members of the community. Over 80 years later, we invite you to create an arrangement for display at the Library. And, if you'd like to enter your floral creation in the Library Board of Directors contest and be eligible for a prize, please read the rules below and submit an entry form with your arrangement.
