Town of Bethel announces PROPERTY SALE AUCTION

PROPERTY TAX SALE 10:00am on Thursday ,November 20 at Clifford J Hurgin Municipal Center (1 School Street), Bethel.

PROPERTY AUCTION

The tax collector of the Town of Bethel has levied upon the following properties in Bethel and slated them for public auction to satisfy delinquent taxes and charges under C.G.S. § 12-157. Volume and page numbers refer to the Town’s land records. Unless paid, these properties will be auctioned in “as is” condition at 10:00 a.m. on November 20, 2014 at the Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center at 1 School Street in Bethel.

34½ Nashville Road also known as 34A Nashville Road (Volume 1045 Page 1066) owned by Melanie and Frank W. Clark, Jr. of that address, owing $7,465.28 through the end of last month. Savings Bank of Danbury may have interests which will be extinguished by the sale.

88 Plumtrees Road (Volume 617 Page 213) owned by Georgiana Rescigno and Nancy Paglinco of 5 Kilian Drive, Danbury CT 06811, owing $28,649.43 through the end of last month. Angelina Chiappetta and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. may have interests which will be extinguished by the sale.

107 Wooster Street (Volume 655 Page 336) owned by Marc Shaw of 122 Old Mount Tom Road, Bantam CT 06750, owing $33,301.69 through the end of last month. Stock Building Supply, Inc.; the Hatch and Bailey Company; the Eagle Leasing Company, Inc.; JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.; and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. may have interests which will be extinguished by the sale.

Bidders must present $5,000 per property in cash or certified check payable to “Pullman & Comley, Trustee” on the day of the sale, and the winning bidder must pay the balance of the sale price within 5 days or forfeit that deposit.
