Practice Leader within the Financial Credit and Regulatory Compliance Group 

Reporting to the executive committee, the Practice Leader will have overall site responsibility for business units operating within our Danbury office. The Practice Leader will coordinate strategy, staffing and technology needs with the specific business unit heads and have project oversight responsibility, including client deliverables, meetings and conferences. The Practice Leader will coordinate training and skill enhancement plans to help develop new and experienced analysts in areas of fixed income analytics, risk management and regulatory compliance. Working with internal business unit heads, the Practice Leader will assist in identifying new business opportunities and client prospects.  

The ideal candidate will have a significant background in finance, asset management, corporate banking , securities trading or financial compliance; experience managing large teams; ability to be client facing and manage to specified budgets.

The position does not require extensive travel and can afford flexibility to the right candidate. Compensation negotiable.

Program Manager within Technology Solutions Group

Reporting to the Program Management Committee, the Program Manager will be responsible for managing the design, launch and ongoing review of NewOak’s Technology Innovation Program (TIP). The program aims to target both recent college and high school graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in technology and will place candidates in a 16 week paid immersion course of study where they will learn and use modern technology languages, tools and concepts. Upon successful completion of the Immersion course, the students will participate in an 8 week mentoring session where they will work side by side with technology experts using the skills they have recently learned on real world business projects. Upon completion of the mentoring session, the students will be eligible for full time employment with NewOak within their technology services group. They students will be able to earn additional money for further study at the college at various lengths of successful employment with the firm.

The program manager will be responsible for coordinating the recruiting campaign for candidates, qualification assessment, curriculum development and ongoing oversight of the program with various internal partners including Technology Development and Human Resources.

The ideal candidate will have a background in education or technology and a passion for helping youth gain valuable career skills.

The position does not require extensive travel and can afford flexibility to the right candidate. Compensation negotiable.
