Introducing glorious master of fine art/calligrapher/designer, UN affiliate, Arctic crusader, and good friend Moki Kokoris....she will be teaching our newest workshop, "Ukrainian Easter Eggs." Due to the overwhelming response to this workshop, there will be morning and evening workshops as well as a workshop for young adults, ages 12 and up!

Moki will first demonstrate how to make a pysanka, a traditional Ukrainian painted egg, then each of you will make your own. Pysanka means "to write"....each egg tells a story depending on what colors, designs and glyph you use. Moki says, "Pysanky are said to hold powerful magic." So come and learn the significance of folk art. "This is more than a cultural expression, it is a way of life."

We're scheduling more Ukrainian Egg workshops in the coming weeks. If you have an interested group of at least 8, we would be pleased to schedule a workshop for you.
