Bethel Public Library Invites Adults to Enjoy Book Discussions

The Bethel Public Library invites adults to meet and discuss books in a relaxed, friendly environment. There are good reasons to consider joining us: youll meet new people, gain new insights, and discover that some books which you might not have chosen are worth reading! Also, attendees tell us they get much more out of a book once they talk about it with others.

Monthly Evening and Morning Book Discussions take place at the Library on a regularly scheduled Monday, 6:30-7:45 pm, and Wednesday, 10:15-11:30 am, typically during the last week of the month. Coming up this Spring, please join us to discuss A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson on May 23 and 25; then join us to discuss Death Comes for the Archbishop by Willa Cather on June 27 and 29. The Library also offers Quarterly Classics Book Discussions on a Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 7:45 pm; please join us on June 22 to discuss Shakespeares A Midsummer Nights Dream.

Its easy to participate in a Bethel Public Library book discussion. Theres no registration required, and no book to buy if you have a library card---simply read the selected title and meet at the scheduled time and place. Books are usually available for checkout one month prior to the meeting. If you have any questions, please call us at 794-8756 x4, or visit www.bethellibrary.org.

All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations must contact the Library at least two weeks prior to the program date.
