Bethel Public Library: A Cool Place for Book Discussions

This summer, find a cool place to enjoy a good book! The Bethel Public Library offers adults a relaxed, friendly environment to gather for book discussions. There are good reasons to consider participating in a book discussion: youll meet new people and gain new insights. Attendees have told us that they get much more out of a book once they talk about it with others. Also, you may discover that some books which you might not have chosen are really worth reading!

Monthly Evening and Morning Book Discussions take place at the Library on regularly scheduled Mondays, 6:30-7:45 pm, and Wednesdays, 10:15-11:30 am, typically during the last week of each month. As we near the end of Summer 2016, please join us to discuss The Space Between Usby Thrity Umrigar on August 29 and 31, and The Boys in the Boat by Daniel Brown on September 26 and 28.

Its easy to participate in a Bethel Public Library book discussion. Theres no registration required, and no book to buy if you have a library card---simply check out a copy, read the selected title, and meet at the scheduled time and place. Books are usually available for checkout one month prior to the meeting. If you have any questions, please call us at 794-8756 x4, or visit www.bethellibrary.org.

All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations must contact the Library at least two weeks prior to the program date.
