Byrd's Books was just named one of the 10 Best Bookstores in Connecticut by the website "Best Things In Connecticut".
Writer Elizabeth Georgian says, "Connecticut bookworms have numerous options when it comes to browsing the bestsellers or picking up the next book in a series. With several independent bookstores offering staff picks, readers are certain to find their next favorite book."
Georgian praises Byrd’s Books its many local authors and new titles, large selection of children’s books that are on sale, as well as the bookstore's gift section featuring puzzles, toys, cards, and local interest items.
Also making the list are neighboring indie bookstores: Barrett Bookstore in Darien, Books on the Common in Ridgefield, and Written Words Bookstore in Shelton.
