Bethel Board of Education approved 2015-2016 budget

Last evening, the Bethel Board of Education approved the 2015-2016 budget to reflect a 2.97% increase over last year’s budget.  The overall budget reflects an increase that will allow for the continuation of current programs and the address areas of continuous growth.  The Board of Education budget will be presented to the Bethel Board of Finance and Selectman on February 19th at 7 PM in the Municipal Center, Conference Room A.  Please come and show your support!

I have set up information sessions for parents in the coming months to present the budget to enhance your understanding and answer any questions or concerns you might have. I encourage you to attend a session to become informed about the budgetary recommendations for your child's education and become actively involved in exercising your civic rights as a resident in the town of Bethel.
