TRAFFIC ADVISORY

Milling and paving work on several city roads began today, Tuesday, August 5, 2014, and will continue through August 21, 2014.

Road Closures and detours expected for:

• Tamarack Avenue - Hayestown Road
  Tamarack Avenue will be closed for milling from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. today, Tuesday, August 5th.
  Tamarack Avenue and Hayestown Road will be closed for paving on Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8,
  
  
• Osborne Street - Balmforth Avenue
  Hayestown Road (from East Pembroke to Wood Street) will be closed for milling from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6th.
  Osborne Street, and Balmforth Avenue will be closed in the evenings from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on August 12th, 13th and 14th.
  Osborne Street, Balmforth Avenue will be paved, weather permitting, on August 19th, 20th and 21st.
  
  
• Lee Hartell Drive - Crosby Street
  Lee Hartell Drive and Crosby Street will be closed in the evenings from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on August 12th, 13th and 14th.
  Lee Hartell Drive and Crosby Street will be paved, weather permitting, on August 19th, 20th and 21st.

Drivers should plan for detours and road closures throughout this time period and should use alternate routes whenever possible.
