Remain of 2 individuals found in Weston, CT

Weston, CT (October, 30, 2015): The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed that the remains found at 89 Norfield Road, Weston are human remains of two separate individuals.  The OCME is actively working to confirm positive identity.

State Police Detectives from Western District Major Crime, along with assistance with from Weston and Easton Police Department, Easton and Weston Fire Department, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Bridgeport State’s Attorney’s Office, FBI, U.S. Marshals and U.S. Attorney’s Office are actively investigating the discovery of the remains.

Detectives are actively working to process the scene and exploring the possibility that this is connected to the Easton missing persons case.  We anticipate further information will be available later this afternoon.

Once the OCME positively identifies the remains and next of kin is notified, the names of the victims will be released.

At no time was there any threat to the community
