Bethel PD are Investigating Two Residential Vehicle Break Ins

The Bethel Police Department is investigating two motor vehicle break-ins which occurred on the night of 07/27-07/28. Credit cards and other items were taken from unlocked vehicles parked in residential driveways close to Rt6 and I84 near exit 8. Two of the stolen credit cards were used on 07/28/16 at Best Buy- Meriden, Target -Meriden, Wal-Mart -Naugatuck, and gas stations in Waterbury and Rocky Hill. Photographs of a suspect using one of the cards were obtained from the Target and Best Buy locations in Meriden.

On 07/28/16, the suspect left the scene in a silver 4dr Honda Civic. (no plate identified)

On 08/06/16, the suspect left the scene in what appeared to be a silver 4dr Acura with sunroof. (no plate identified)
