Wings Over Water School of Swimming’s
Open Your Heart to Benefit the Children in Roatán, Honduras
SWIM-A-THON 2017!
All proceeds will help purchase supplies and uniforms to help with the children’s educational needs. All are invited to participate! You can swim on your own or with a parent’s assistance.
Date: Saturday, February 25, 2017 (snow date: Saturday, March 4, 2017)

Please register at our front desk to:
- Receive your pledge packet with instructions
- Have your name written on a heart and displayed at WOW Volunteer to assist at the event
COMPASSION
Honduras is the third poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. 75% of Hondurans live in poverty. Most do not have running water, electricity or plumbing. The School system and educational culture is incredibly poor. Less than 32 of 100 Honduran children finish primary school.
We can make a difference! All are welcome to:
1. Join in on our Open Your Heart Swim-a-thon and/or
2. Purchase a Open Your Heart Bag which goes to purchasing computers, school supplies, books, school uniforms that help children attend school and receive an education.
OUR GOAL
To raise funds for educational needs for the children of Roatán. We will personally deliver all supplies to the schools on behalf of the children. ALL participants and volunteers will receive a special WOW gift for their generosity the day of the event!
