7th Annual PCRF Dribble for the Cure

7th Annual PCRF Dribble for the Cure

at St. John’s University on Saturday, September 23rd from 10am to 1pm

where every dollar raised will support pediatric cancer research at our center.

Did you know that PCRF funds most of our program’s research at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and New York Medical College?  Since 1982, PCRF has worked to find a cure to pediatric cancer with help from donors like you.

What is Dribble for the Cure?

During this fun-filled day, you will enjoy games, food, and activities with the St. John’s basketball teams and coaches before dribbling your basketball around the St. John’s campus in a ceremonial walk.  Dribble for the Cure has had support from basketball legends Lou Carnesecca and former NY Knick John Starks, and we are happy that head coaches Chris Mullin and Joe Tartamella support this year’s event!

How do I participate? And, what if I can’t make the event?

Whether or not you can come to the event in person, you can make an impact by starting an online fundraising “team!”  Just visit www.dribbleforthecure.com where you can form your virtual team and set up a donor website.  Then invite your friends, family members and neighbors to “join” your team by visiting your website and making a gift.  Teams can even be formed to honor a child, family member, friend or neighbor.  Prizes will be awarded at the event to teams raising at least $150!

We look forward to seeing you on September 23!  For any questions, please reach out to Tara_Giblin@bchphysicians.org or Andres_Avila@bchphysicians.org.
