Putnam Service Dogs Announces Launch of Capital Campaign
Help Us Build Our Home

To kick off their Capital Campaign, an anonymous donor will match all donations up to $100,000 received by December 1st

Putnam Service Dogs, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit NY State corporation, announces the launching of their Capital Campaign to purchase a site for their Home. They will need a minimum of a 10 acre site in Putnam County to accommodate the multiple functions of their Center - kennels for their dogs in training, training areas, office space, Board Room, dorm rooms for the recipients when they’re learning to work with their Service Dog, a caretaker’s apartment, kitchen and dining facility, gift shop and reception area, and outdoor areas to exercise the dogs.

The purchase price of the site is projected to be $1 Million. It will be purchased by 2019, with applications for the various approvals needed for construction beginning after the purchase. Site preparation work will begin as soon as possible, as allowed by approvals and funds. The Center will be built in stages, with the training areas and kennels in the first phase. Site preparation and the initial phase of construction are projected to be $3.5 Million.
