‘Dinner with the Doc’ series offers interactive health education for community

Health Quest will offer a new, interactive series, “Dinner with the Doc,” in September and October, featuring knowledgeable healthcare providers discussing preventive medicine and medical advancements.

The educational series also features a complimentary dinner served at restaurants throughout the mid-Hudson Valley. Reservations are required two weeks in advance due to limited seating.

First up –Drs. Shantala Sonnad of Health Quest Urgent Care and Keyur Ajbani of Putnam Hospital Center will present “Urgent Care vs. ER – How to Decide?” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Cosimo’s, 120 Delafield St., Poughkeepsie. Attendees will learn where to go for care – the emergency department or urgent care center – based on severity of symptoms when their doctor’s office is closed.
