SPACE on Ryder Farm Goes Local for Final Seasonal Supper with Hayfields

SPACE on Ryder Farm will partner with local favorite, Hayfields Market (North Salem) for their final Seasonal Supper of the season on September 10, pairing all local farm-fresh ingredients with performances from SPACE’s artists, Grace McLean and Brittain Ashford. All ingredients for the dinner will be sourced from local North Salem farms and vendors including the North Salem High School Community Garden, Snow Hill Farm, Salinger's Orchard, Deep Roots Farm, Steve-O! Pickles and Jams, Harvest Moon Orchard, and Three Ponds Farm. Complimentary wine and beer will be provided.

Accompanying the dinner will be performances from Grace McLean and Brittain Ashford.  Grace McLean, in addition to performing (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Brooklynite,Bedbugs!!!, Sleep No More), was a headlining performer and vocal instructor at the SingStrong acapella festivals in DC and Chicago in 2014, her band Grace McLean & Them Apples toured Pakistan in 2015 and they performed in both the 2015 and 2016 Lincoln Center American Songbook series. McLean's pop opera about 12th century German mystic Hildegard von Bingen has been developed at CAP21, SPACE on Ryder Farm, and Goodspeed. Brittain Ashford is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter who performs with the band Prairie Empire and with Ghost Quartet. She appeared in Dave Malloy's hit musical, Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812. Original EPs Natural Disaster and Make Me Breakfast available on iTunes.
