College Applications
The summer is the ideal time work on you college application. In fact, your senior year will be more enjoyable if you enter it knowing that you have completed your entire application. This year, EA will be holding its annual College Application Essay Writing Boot Camp, which will be held during August 18 - 21 at the Studio Around the Corner 67 Main St. Suite 101 in Brewster.
Each class is ninety minutes, and you must attend one session each day of the camp. You can either choose to come the same time every day or change the session to accommodate your work or camp schedule. Sessions are held at 9:30 am, 12:00 (noon), 4:00 pm, or 6:00 pm. In four days, you will have your college application essay completed.
Since we know that families take vacations and many students attend camp, we are also bringing the EA Boot Camp into people’s homes. You can invite your friends to work on their essays for four days in your home. All you need is a minimum of four friends who can come at the same time on the same day in July or August, and we will help everyone who attends complete their essays.

With a heavy focus on structure, students will begin to brainstorm and develop their essays.

Make the Essay Come Alive
Using sensory language and adding detail, essays will begin to take on a collegiate form
Participate in peer editing sessions.
Class IV
The Final Touches
Individual conferences with a local college professor to proofread and prepare for final publication.
