On Saturday August 22nd from 11am to 4pm, DeCicco & Sons - the popular family-owned chain of supermarkets - is hosting its 4th Annual Local Food Festival at its Brewster store at 50 Independent Way.
“This has become a fun tradition for the entire community to enjoy - individuals, families, kids, seniors… everyone!”, stated John DeCicco, Jr., one of the company’s owners. “In addition to celebrating the best of local farmers, vendors and breweries with a variety of fabulous samplings of foods and beverages, we are also providing not only the local community, but all of our surrounding communities with an opportunity to spend a fun-filled day that is truly special and unique!”
The “food” part of the festival will include more than 50 local food vendors made up of farmers, bakers, cheese makers, brewers and other exhibitors with samples and information at various tasting tables and booths set up around the property and throughout the 40,000 square foot store. So while the parking lot will offer tables, tents and booths… the store will feature additional sampling, plus in-house coffee roasting, brick oven pizza, an in-store bar, freshly prepared sushi, hand-rolled mozzarella, and many more culinary delights that have made DeCicco & Sons the preferred one-stop destination for shoppers!
