America the Beautiful, A Melting Pot of Musical Diversity

The Cultural Arts Coalition presents: America the Beautiful, at SPACE on Ryder Farm, concert on June 17 at 7:30PM, grounds open at 6:30PM.

An evening of music, celebrating our musical and cultural diversity, featuring Philip Anderson, tenor; Robert Zubrycki and Laura Bald, violins; Adria Benjamin, viola; Elliot Bailen, cello and Nathan Brewster, percussion. Works by William Grant Still, Charles Ives, Aaron Copland, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Scott Joplin, Astor Piazzolla, John Philip Sousa and more. 

SPACE on Ryder Farm creates and environment singular in its ability to invigorate artists and innovators and their work, and contributes to the sustainability and resourceful preservation of on of the oldest family-run organic farms on the East Coast. Please join us on the lawn, bring a blanket or a lawn chair and a picnic! Light refreshments will be available. 

Violinist, Robert Zubrycki, is currently Concertmaster for the New York City Chamber Orchestra, a member of the American Symphony Orchestra, the Stamford Symphony, principal violin and frequent soloist with the Amici New York Orchestra, and performs in the orchestra for the American Ballet Theater at Lincoln Center. He has recently performed as Concertmaster for the New York Choral Society at Carnegie Hall, Encores! at City Center, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic and for Pope Francis at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. A veteran of dozens of Broadway shows, Bob performed in the orchestra for “She Loves Me” and previously performed in “A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder”, and he can be heard on the recent cast recordings of “She Loves Me”, “An American in Paris” and “Paint Your Wagon” (violin and mandolin). He has won an Emmy Award for his musical contribution to the documentary, “The Curse of the Bambino”. As the first violinist for the Queen’s Chamber Band and the Abaca String Band, Robert has recorded extensively and toured United States, including performances at the Chautauqua Institute and the White House. 

Tickets are $15, $10 for students and can be purchased at spaceonryderfarm.org 

Space on Ryder Farm is located at 406 Starr Ridge Road, Brewster, NY. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Studio Around the Corner, 67 Main Street, Brewster, NY.
