The annual Brewster Fire Department Dress Parade begins promptly at 7 p.m. Wednesday July 26th at 7 p.m. on Main Street near Peaceable Hill Road. The Brewster police department along with the Sheriffs Department will be closing Main Street and several adjoining side streets at approximately 6 p.m.
The parade route travels along Main Street then onto North Main St at the firehouse and ends at Markel Park. Over two dozen fire departments from around the tri-state area are expected to attend. The Brewster Fire Department has invited the local chapter of the New York Riders to lead the parade this year and they have graciously accepted that invitation.
The roadways in the village should be reopened to vehicular traffic by approximately 8 p.m.
Please plan your trips accordingly and take alternate routes between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to avoid delays.
