STEAMFest at Keeler Library on November 18

The Keeler Library's annual STEAMFest will be held on Saturday, November 18th from 11:00 – 3:00. It will be a series of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math workshops for kids in kindergarten and up and their families. We will be making and shooting rockets, creating circuit boards, using a wind tunnel, measuring wind with an anemometer, creating a trip wire alarm and more.

There will be a demonstration of an Othermill Machine.

It will be run by Jaymes Dec, science and technology teacher at Marymount in the city and co-founder of NYCMakery, and his team.

This is a family event so please plan on staying with your children.

Registration is required, we cap the program at 100 children and we are well on our way. Please call or email the library or go to the calendar portion of our web page, search for the event and click on the RSVP button in the top right.

This program is funded by the:
