Local Students Graduate from SUNY College

SUNY Delhi

Erik Grillo of Brewster, NY graduated May 2016 from the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi with an AAS in Electrical Construction and Instrumentation.

SUNY Oneonta

More than 1,000 graduates were recognized at SUNY Oneonta's 127th commencement on May 14, 2016. Students who completed the requirements for bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and certificates of advanced study participated in three main ceremonies in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. Broadway producer Hal Luftig (1979) and set designer Neil Mazzella (1973) addressed the graduates and received honorary doctorates.

The following area residents graduated from SUNY Oneonta on May 14:

  •       Kelly Burns of Brewster, NY (10509), graduated Cum Laude with a BS degree in Psychology;
  •       John Dignan of Brewster, NY (10509), graduated with a BS degree in Communication Studies;
  •       Christopher Martorell of Brewster, NY (10509), graduated with a BS degree in History;
  •       Rori Stark of Brewster, NY (10509), graduated with a BS degree in Business Economics;

SUNY Oswego

Several students from the area completed their baccalaureate studies at SUNY Oswego in spring 2016 and were recognized during Commencement in May.

  •       Nicholas A. Conti of Brewster graduated with a degree in business administration
  •       Gino G. Giannettino of Brewster graduated with a degree in public justice
  •       Michael J. Putillo of Brewster graduated, magna cum laude, with a degree in graphic design
