The VOB Film Festival is now in its sixth year and is excited to continue growing and sharing the message of the arts and independent film throughout Putnam County! The event takes place Labor Day weekend from August 31st – September 3rd, 2017.

In addition to our annual festival, we will also be showing films each month in our new independent film theater at Drew Methodist Church on Route 52 in Carmel, NY Our monthly film series will be a mix of independent, well known or rediscovered films. We will also include informative panels throughout the year.
Our Independent Movie Nights will be free in 2017 - thanks to our sponsors!
- April 28th - Sci Fi Night. Three independent Sci-Fi films plus the original King-Kong vs. Godzilla
- May 12th - Sing along with Mom and come watch Mamma Mia!
- June 16th - The award winning film - Newtown.
